About my work

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and a National Certified Counselor. I see adults 18 and older by video, anywhere in the state.

I work best with people others tend to lean on. They're capable and dependable, and they're exhausted and struggling inside. I also work with neurodivergent adults, and with people who've done years of talk therapy and still feel stuck.

My work is grounded in AEDP, and I also draw on IFS, EMDR, and Brainspotting. In session, I stay actively involved. I ask questions, share what I notice, and help you slow down when something important comes up. Expect warmth, honest feedback, and active guidance.

Why I left HR for this work

Before I became a therapist, I spent seven years in corporate HR. I moved into this work out of a fascination with emotion, and I wanted to help people accept their own feelings instead of fighting them. That's still at the center of how I work.

Credentials and training
