ADHD and neurodivergence
ADHD therapy for adults
You've built a lot of systems to keep up. They mostly work, and they take more energy than anyone sees.
What this can feel like day to day
- You start the day with a plan and end it wondering where the time went.
- Small tasks pile up until they feel impossible to start.
- You're great in a crisis and stuck on the ordinary stuff.
- Feelings come on fast and big, and you replay them later.
- You've been told you're not living up to your potential more times than you can count.
- You're tired of "try harder" being the only plan.
How I work with ADHD
The practical struggles are real, and so is what builds up around them: years of shame, masking, and feeling like you're always behind.
We make room for both. Using AEDP and IFS, we get to know the parts of you that push, criticize, or give up, and the feelings underneath them. We also get practical about what's making daily life hard, and we look for approaches that fit how your brain works.
I'm working toward ADHD‑CCSP certification, and I work with neurodivergent adults more broadly, too. I don't offer ADHD testing or diagnosis right now.
Changes to look for
Everyone's pace is different. Here are some changes you can watch for:
- Less shame when something slips
- Less overwhelm
- More self-trust
- A clearer sense of what actually helps you
- More room for enjoyment
