Anxiety, depression, and burnout

Therapy for anxiety, depression, and burnout

You're the one people count on, and lately it's taking everything you have. You still show up. You just don't have much left when you get there.

What this can feel like day to day

  • Your mind keeps running long after the day is done.
  • You feel flat, or you feel everything at once.
  • Rest doesn't restore you the way it used to.
  • You say yes when you mean no, then resent it later.
  • Things you used to enjoy feel like one more task.
  • On paper, everything's fine. Inside, it isn't.

How I work with anxiety, depression, and burnout

You may understand your patterns and still feel caught in them, even after years of therapy. Understanding a pattern doesn't always change how it feels.

With AEDP, we slow down and notice what's happening as you talk, like the tightness before you say yes, or the heaviness that shows up on Sunday night. Then we make room for what's underneath, whether that's sadness, anger, or relief.

With IFS, we get to know the part of you that keeps pushing and the part that wants it all to stop. Both are trying to help you in their own way.

Changes to look for

Everyone's pace is different. Here are some changes you can watch for:

  • Less overwhelm
  • Saying no without a spiral of guilt
  • Noticing what you need before you hit empty
  • More self-trust
  • More room for enjoyment
